Whether you have a room you want us to tenant for you or a flat or house you want us to find a tenant for - Miller Wallace Residential will find a suitable tenant for your property, we will carry out referencing checks, draw up tenancy agreements and all appropriate documentation.

We operate a very different approach in finding you a tenant;

  1. We listen to tenant enquirers and take on board their expectations and personal preferences. We then match them with the properties we feel will accommodate their needs. This unique ‘homefinder’ approach sets us aside from our competitors. We will allocate prospective tenant enquirers a specific named ‘home find’ specialist within our team who will deal with all of their enquiries personally and take the time to get a great understanding of their needs. The ‘home find’ specialist will assess the tenants financial status and assist them with accessing funds where necessary to cover the upfront costs by liasing with our partners in the credit union
  2. We ensure that everyone on our books immediately knows that your property is ‘Available To Let’ and follow up with a telephone call to make sure that if your property is right for them they won’t miss out.
  3. Our eye catching window display in the busy Keel Row shopping centre attracts a lot of interest and will ensure that your property is shown in an appealing way.
  4. Your property will be advertised periodically in the local press either News Post Leader or News Guardian.
  5. We have an extensive list of people already waiting for all different kinds of properties so we are able to quickly identify if any of these clients match your property.
  6. We will arrange and organise all viewings on your property.
  7. Upon finding a suitable tenant we complete all of the necessary paperwork including Tenancy Agreements and any necessary benefit application forms – making sure that any housing benefit (Local Housing Allowance) claim form is submitted with all necessary supporting documentation to aid quick processing.
  8. We work with our strategic partners at the Credit Union to offer tenants access to low cost affordable loans for those individuals who may not have all of the upfront costs required available in the form of savings.
  9. Local Housing Allowance. If the tenant is entitled to Local Housing Allowance we will liase with the tenant and the Local Authority to ensure that all of the appropriate paperwork is handed in to process the claim.
